What is the StepUp Impact Luncheon?
The Impact Luncheon will introduce the mission of StepUp Ministry to people who may not know that StepUp exists. The luncheon provides an opportunity for guests to meet participants, learn about StepUp’s process that changes lives and breaks the cycle of poverty, and hear success stories from actual graduates.
What makes the Impact Luncheon Unique?
- There is no cost to attend! Just RSVP to mjclark@step-up.us
- There will be an opportunity to make a donation to StepUp at the end of the luncheon hour but there is no minimum or maximum contribution required.
- Guests will meet and mingle with actual participants at StepUp Ministry
What will I be doing for StepUp Ministry?
StepUp will see more than 650 individuals enter job week training in 2012 alone. Once employed, we have room for only 100 families a year to be trained in our Life Skills Program. The 2012 Community Impact Luncheon will help StepUp Ministry expand our area of service in Wake County to enroll more adults and children in our Life Skills and Alumni programs. StepUp is committed to assisting our participants in obtaining stability, earning a living wage, and providing access to educational opportunities.
